Light City
Visits on your toplist: Tour Montparnasse, l'Arc de Triomphe, Musée d'Orsay, Musée du Louvre, Place de la Concorde, Place des Vosges, Place Vendôme, River Cruise by day or night, Notre Dame, Sacrée Coeur. Shop at: Samaritaine or Galeries La Fayette. Show: Lido de Paris.

Quick Tips:

I recommend you to buy a Paris Visite Card allowing you to travel without limit by subway (Metro) in 1 up to 2 (or 3) zones for three days; a good alternative is the one-day Mobilis Card for zone 1-2 as the most interesting locations will be in those suburbs. At the same time, you better buy a Paris Museum Pass: this will enable you to visit several museums the same day without queuing.

Best Way To Get Around:

Walking along the Seine in the centre area. With a map by hand you easily find a subway. Noctambus: night buses are not easily to find: ask before!

Do not miss
It is a notorious and huge retail market shop divided into two buildings, with women's and men's clothes separated. Prices are rather high, but sometimes you'll find something with a good price/quality relation. Even if you don't plan to buy anything, you should give yourself an hour to visit because of the very specific and beautiful decoration -- one of a kind! Visit the website. La Samaritaine is one of its competitors.

Attraction | "LIDO de Paris"

The LIDO
Night club with live show of very high level consisting of dance, ballet, and specialty acts. The technical ressources, a moving floor, elements such as water, ice and fire, a flying dragon, etc. just make you part of the dream for 90 minutes. Can you believe 617 lavish costumes are shown? At one moment, you are sitting before an ice-skating rink, at another moment, you're before a fountain on the main stage? Go to LIDO de Paris to see a glimpse of the Bluebell Nude Dancers and Lido Boy Dancers.

Old but interesting stuff
Have a walk from Louvre to Notre Dame de Paris, it doesn't matter on what border you go. And from Louvre through the park in the direction of Place de la Concorde with the obelisk. Or at the opposite side of Notre Dame wander around in Quartier Latin and have a drink.

Biker
The most common and fast means of travelling through the city is by subway, locally called Métropolitan or Metro. Frequency is high and waiting time is low. RER is a train you can catch with the same-day ticket as for the subway. If weather is sunny, walking is enjoyable. You'll meet bikers and skaters too. In-line skating seems to be very efficient at night!
