This resort is large with all the necessary amenities: beach, pool, bar. When I first walked into the resort, I was in awe. In front of the main doors is this very large, saltwater aquarium with fish bigger than me! This lovely lady offered me a strawberry daiquiri to get my vacation started. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they don't expect tips because of the all inclusive, but if you throw them a couple of pesos, they will always be there for you. I'm not sure about the food, I only ate quesadillas while I was in Cancun (vegetarian). The atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The place is a hut-like building with one big open-air dining area that spilled out onto the deck. We sat on the deck over the lagoon and had our dinner under the stars. Inside, was a live band playing salsa music, and one of the employees grabbed me up from the table and gave me a quick lesson. I've never had so much fun! Favorite dish: The bucket of beer. It's a bucket filled with ice and a HUGE bottle of SOL. My guy also got a bucket of shrimp . . . he said it was good.
