Beautiful Kauai

A June 2002 trip to Kauai by crosare

I love this Island! I stay in Kapaa--it has good food, shopping and amenities nearby. With Bali Hai through Hanapepe or for relaxing beaches I go eat delicious Ice Cream in Koloa at Laperts. Head down the road and visit a "top ten" destination, Poipu Beach. What a beautiful place!

All I can say is Pampered Luxurious Stay. The moment you walk in this place you immediately know that this is going to be unforgettable. This place brings everything of what you need to have a romantic Hawaiian vacation or a tropical family getaway. With beautiful pool lagoons, amazing lava rock waterfalls, slides, romantic trail (at night there are no words to describe it), onsite luau. You won't need to go anywhere but to a private, clear water beach called Shipwreck's. While it doesn't look like a ship wrecked, you will feel like a castaway not wanting to be saved. This beach is beautiful and for the Hyatt Regency guests to enjoy.

Kilohana PlantationBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Kilohana Luau"

This luau is set on a gorgeous plantation that tells alot of stories. The people are so so kind, they teach you how to hula, weave fresh flower leis, use the hawaiian instruments & provide you with a carriage tour around the plantation front land. This is just the beginning! Once you are escorted to your seat and the entertainment begins, you will soon enjoy the best Luau food in Kauai. The kalua pig is just right, the taro sweet potatoes are to die for and the deserts you will not stop going for. For the price it's worth it. One note, the Luau is indoors so this can be a disadvantage for those wanting beachfront luau's. If the weather is too unpredictable or it just doesn't matter to you if the luau is in/outdoor, Kilohana is the Luau for you!
