We stayed at the Mayan Palace in Neuvo Vallarta. Mayan Palace is situated on acres and acres of beacfront property. They have three towers and they are in the midst of building the Grand Mayan (5-star+ resort). The pool is one of the largest in Latin America. The resort gives you boogie boards and sand toys for the beach. It has an awesome canoe and train ride right at the resort.
Quick Tips:
Paradise Valley Market/Mall is a 5 minute cab ride ( each way). It has a complete grocery store, internet cafe, McDonalds, Domino's Pizza, Laundry and lots of boutique shops.
There is also laundry service at the Mayan Palace (drop off your laundry for ) and pick up freshly laundered clothes. The internet cafe is very slow at the Palace. You'll find boutique shops at the resort and it's quite pricey.
Best Way To Get Around:
Best way to get around is via taxi. Make sure you negotiate the price ahead of time. A cab ride to downtown Puerto Vallarta is about .
