Ski Tahoe

A December 2001 trip to South Lake Tahoe by Erben

Quote: We spent a great week at a Southshore Sheraton property with excellent accommodations that were close to everything! Easy to ski, easy to eat, and easy to relax and enjoy. We also ventured into some of the back country and enjoyed the splendors of the great outdoors.

Ski Tahoe

Overview

Ski, hike, and dine! Gamble! Check out the nightlife! Hang by the lake...you name it, Tahoe's got it.

Quick Tips:

Buy provisions to have breakfast in your suite, that way you can relax in the morning and enjoy the cozy atmosphere.

Best Way To Get Around:

During the winter you will probably want to drive anywhere far, but you can certainly walk to nearby restaurants or ski slopes! Many resorts also have shuttles to the slopes.

This is one of my favorite places to ski. The snow is great and the weather is unbeatable. Crowds can be a challenge on weekends, but during the week it's all up and down!
