A March 2003 trip to San Diego by rweb

A week in San Diego is only enough time to to get a taste of what it has to offer. It is good for a family vacation or a romantic getaway with someone special.

Best Things Nearby:
The shopping community of La Jolla.

Best Things About the Resort:
Quiet with great view of the ocean. Well kept.

Resort Experience:
Staying at the Casa de la Playa was a very positive experience. Waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee looking out at the ocean. And ending the day watching the sunset with a glass of wine. The town of La Jolla has just the greatest feel to it. Plenty of shopping for the girls and a great golf course for the guys (Torrey Pines).

Attraction | "Hiking in Torrey Pines State Park"

This is not only a great workout but it has many beautiful veiws from the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It is also educational as it has information on all the different types of plant life in the area.

Story/Tip

I spent a week in San Diego looking for Jesus Christ because I thought I was in heaven. This was a trip to visit our daughter who is going to school in Picific Beach. We took our 16-year-old daughter along. I can't wait to go back with just my wife. San Diego is not only a family destination but a great romantic getaway with that someone special. The sunsets are beautiful. The city is clean and friendly. It has whatever you would want in a vaction spot.
