Cabo San Lucas

A March 1998 trip to Cabo San Lucas by Yipiyuk

Cabo is paradise! There's something for everyone: mountains, desert, ocean, golf, scuba, snorkeling, fishing, bars, incredible food, beaches, pools, shopping... you can make it as adventurous or as relaxed as you need. We've been there three times now, and can't wait to go back.

Restaurant | "The Office"

The Office is a unique experience that you shouldn't miss. The tables are in the sand 20 feet from the ocean, the food is top notch (I highly recommend the surf-n-turf: large portions, extremely fresh, great price). They have entertainment (fiestas, dancing) center stage, and if you come in the evening they'll bring a serape to your table to keep you warm! There are families, couples, and groups of vacationing youths - everyone mingles here and they accommodate all interests.

Attraction | "Sol Mar Fleet"

I have never liked fishing, but having gone deep sea fishing I would recommend it to anyone! You have the beauty of the ocean, we've seen herds of dolphin, whales, and the challenge of reeling in a marlin (or dorado, or any of the other sport fish) is INCREDIBLE! The bonus is that after you get back you can eat your catch at one of the local restaurants (I recommend Stop Light). Even if we didn't catch a marlin, the excitement of catching the other fish and the beauty of the surroundings would make it well worth the trip.
