La Casa Country has the best 11 oz. filet mignon for 12 bucks! We found many places to eat that were great within walking distance of the Pueblo Bonito resort where we stayed. The city tour is good for first timers. You get a good feel for the layout of the city.Quick Tips: Use the palmonias for getting around town but ask how much first. The best buys are in the golden zone on the back streets. Do not buy from beach vendors; they have inflated prices. Common sense will keep you out of any tight spots and don't walk around the back streets after dark. It is a very safe city and we never felt threatened.Best Way To Get Around: The buses are every where and cheap. We would walk down...Read More

Best Things Nearby:The grocery is across the street. Purple Onion has good subs and a really good pizza at great prices.Best Things About the Resort:The resort was spotless and beautiful. The room was nice but this resort has the best beach we saw.Resort Experience:You will pay a little more at the restaurants on site but they take your card and they are convenient. The service is impeccable. The cleanliness was impressive and was going on all the time. Marble floors and Spanish styling make this one of the prettiest resorts around. They have an Internet room so you can save on phone calls, and if you have a digital camera you can send instant post cards. It c...Read More

Nice place, great atmosphere. The prices were pretty good. We both ate the ribs which were great. They (like everyone else) had free drink coupons. The service is very good.

Nice place to get a beer and sandwich while watching the latest soccer match. There are visitor's names and the dates they were there written on just about every surface.

The best place we ate at. The steaks are cheap and cooked just right.

The service is fantastic. They have dancing waiters and a clown who has a blast with the kids and adults as well.

It reminds us of a Tumbleweeds and Texas Roadhouse decor, but with better service and a floor show.

A walk up and eat kind of place. One of the few places to get a pizza with pepperoni. We had a three item with extra cheese for around six bucks. Add the special of two beers for 18 pesos and it's a great place for lunch that you can walk to (one block from resort). They have an assortment of subs for under four dollars as well.

A nice place at the resort to eat. The prices are a little higher there but it is convenient and they take your card. The view is excellent and the service, like all of Pueblo Bonito, is superb. I think seafood must be their specialty judging by the number of people who ordered it when we were there.

They had a sign up: "prime rib and all the margaritas you can drink for 130 pesos." We had a good breakfast for 35 pesos that included eggs, toast, potatoes, juice, and coffee!! Try to find that here in the States. Next time, we will try the steaks. You can walk there from Pueblo Bonito. It is maybe a half mile tops.

Right next door is a good place to buy T-shirts. (T-shirts are the best buys in Mazatlan.)
