An October 2002 trip to Cincinnati by sustogner

Quote: Kings Island is an amusement park--fun for all ages. When it opened in 1974, I never dreamed I would live only five miles away and for 15 years own season passes. We found With a season pass by visiting two times, the pass is paid for. It is nice not to have to do the whole park in one day. We like to go up in the evening for a couple of hours. The Water Park Area is perfect for those hot summer days and especially nice is the season pass entrance.

Quick Tips:

Get to Kings Island early. Stay late for the best show--THE FIREWORKS. Ride the water rides and then visit Water Works. Then ride all the other rides just to dry off.

Best way to get around is driving. Public transportation by bus is available.

If you think you will visit King's Island two times per season, you should consider a season pass. Two visits and you have it paid for. Many roller coasters to ride. From the Eiffel Tower you can see the countryside for miles around. The water park is great to cool off at. The shows are entertaining. Check it out at this website.
