My number one thing to do is to go watch an intense football match (soccer). I'm Canadian and I've never seen or heard of such fans. The atmosphere is great. As you walk into the stadium you feel like a player stepping onto the field, it's that loud.

Second, nightlife is a wonderful venue for young adults. Go to a pub have a few drinks or go to Dave and Busters. It's a pub/mini-casino/arcade. Then go out to one of the many pumpin clubs. Whether you like dance, hip hop, or jazz, they have it all.

And my last recommendation is get a bite at a local fish and chips shop and buy a balti. Wonderful!!! or as they say Lovely!

Quick Tips:

Watch yourself at night. It can be a dangerous place. In my opinion worse than New jersey and safer than Detroit. Don't wear soccer or football shirts. I'm sorry but especially you Italians. Some of the Birmingham/England hardcores just won't appreciate it. Mugging is a possiblility so make sure you tuck some money in your socks.

Best Way To Get Around:

Best way to get around you ask?

Two words 'DOUBLE DECKER.'

England is known for them. They are simply everywhere and will get you to wherever you want.

Well, you get to see how the chocolate is made here. Woohoo!!! Yes, it is actually boring, but you get to stuff your face afterwards with as much as your stomach can well..... stomach. Then you get to take a doggie bag home. Trust me. You'll fill your face and throw that doggie bag out after you realize how sick you feel. GREAT FUN!!!

Well, it's a blast. After the first half I knew all of the chants. The atmosphere was great. Take a Toronto Maple Leaf's game, for example. It's loud and the fans get into it, right? Not!! These fans are Mad!!! They make Leaf's fans look like babies. Tailgate parties at American football games? They are crap compared to this atmosphere!!

Well how can I say it: Wild, Beer, Women, Men if thats what floats your boat, and House music. It's truly inspirational to have your eardrums bursting while you guzzle beer. The best thing is that the ladies can't hear your stupid pick up lines so they just smile and nod.

It's hype!! Very exciting when you walk in. From the line outside you can see the smoke coming out of the entrance, and it appears like the club is on fire. I assure you it is on fire in the inside. A thousand set of hands create a wave with strobe lights pulsating over them. House music pumps with no annoying North American DJ stopping to rap or scratch over the already perfect house song by Left Field. It's really just a wonderful setting, and they often have a good hardy line up of DJ's. The venue is in. This place is trendy.
