Honeymoon in Tahoe

Overview

Quote:
Some things we loved were the gondola ride and the restaraunts, and just walking around the lake.

Quick Tips:

Wear sunscreen - you can burn fast! Definitely explore the area a bit rather than staying right in South Tahoe.

Best Way To Get Around:

There was a shuttle from our resort down to the casinos, but we were grateful to have rented a car. We loved exploring the different towns, something that would have been difficult if we couldn't drive. In early June, we didn't have any trouble finding parking.

There are few positive things to say about the experience. The food was sub-par and over-cooked, the wine slow to materialize, the ambience severely lacking, and the entertainment, frankly, was awful. For the price, I expected much more. The idea of sunset cruise was nice, but in reality, we got a quick glimpse and then floated around in the dark waiting for the whole ordeal to be over. We h...Read More
