Experiencing the Olympic facility and its grandeur as well as the surrounding natural splendor is an experience unto itself. We chose to make day trips and an occasional overnight from this beautiful home base. The atmosphere and the opportunities in neighboring Salt Lake City were excellent. Antelope Island, day trips to Wyoming (flaming Gorge, wild horses), Colorado and a 5-hour trip to Zion and Bryce National Parks are all possible. We had opportunity to shop and enjoy the eclectic atmosphere of downtown Park City and the hustle and bustle of an outlet mall as well. There are many restaurants in varying price ranges.
