Annual Week In Sedona

A March 2003 trip to Sedona by Cas1104

We took our one week jaunt up to Sedona in March again this year! As usual it was beautiful and the weather was nice. We did get to hike as well as enjoy the resort!

We stayed at Los Arbogodias and were pamperd in the spa. We also shopped in the shopping area right there on property Talapaque. We hiked at Bell Rock as well as Carousel rock. The trolley also picked us up right out fron of the resort for a two hour tour!

Quick Tips:

Eat at Coffee Pot for a quick great meal! Use the front desk to book all the things you want to do and get 10% off. We also liked the Hideaway and Javelina Cantina for lunch and dinner!

Best Way To Get Around:

I think at other resorts you need a car. At Los Arbogodias everything from the restaurants to shopping is right there! You also have the creek and miniature golf on the property!

Best Things Nearby:
Almost everything you could want is on site! But you are close to the Y as well as right on the creek. You can walk to Talapaque and enjoy the shops and restaurants or catch the many tours from there!

Best Things About the Resort:
Location and the Sedona Spa!!! There is the spa, 2 pools,a workout room, tennis courts, miniature golf, children's play area as well as the creek right there! You are also right across the parking lot from Talapaque.

Resort Experience:
The unit was the 1 bedroom Sedona. We had a mini kitchen that was ok but I would think a resort of this type would have full kitchens and spa as well as a small fireplace.

With that said, it is so quiet here that at night we would sit in the hot tub and watch the stars...

There are many activities and I hear in the summer they also have a great kid's program.

Best place to eat breakfast! It's the home of the 100 omelettes! Very casual and the food as well as the service was great! Should try the Belgium Waffles!

We went for the prime rib which was excellent! We had never been here before and since we were staying right there, we tried it and it was wonderful! We also loved the flourless choclate cake!

We enjoyed On the Rocks several times including 3 times for room service and out by the pool. All the prices were reasonable and the service was pretty good! I loved their wood oven pizza and the baby back ribs!
