Best Things Nearby:
Hanalei Bay. Gorgeous Tunnels Beach.

Best Things About the Resort:
Very accessible to everything you could need: groceries, attractions, and lots of beaches. Full concierge services.

Resort Experience:
We had a very spacious, large master suite with a private master bath and Jacuzzi tub. There are two swimming pools, but there are so many wonderful beaches, we only got to one. Our lower-level unit, with a full-kitchen, was exactly as described in the RCI Directory. We would love to go back as often as possible. Since we had the full-kitchen, we used the separate bar area as our tech center for our digital camera, laptop, and cell phone charging.

Lunch was very reasonable. We ordered beer-battered fish and chips. The fish was ONO (meaning "Delicious" in Hawaiian) and it was the best fish and chips ever!!! This is a very relaxed and casual dining experience, open to the outside with seating is available on the deck.

This is definitely one of the best tourist activities we did, and we did almost all of them. The views were absolutley amazing--imagine flying through Wiamea Canyon (named the Grand Canyon of the Pacific) then over the edge and over the Na Pali Coast (only accessible by air and boat). I'm usually afraid of heights, but this was so smooth and the views so awesome that I never even thought about being afraid!!

Attraction | "Kayak/Hike to Private Waterfall"

We were lead by locals who told wonderful tales of the island and gave a lot of history. It was very fun and exciting. Kayak up a small stream, then hike to a private pool with a waterfall and eat a very nice lunch. This is great for anyone, even the inexperienced.

Attraction | "Captain Sundown - Na Pali Coast"

Captain Sundown Boat
Only Na Pali Coast Tour that is permitted to sail out of Hanalei Bay. Only takes a couple of minutes to reach the Na Pali Coast. All others are out of Port Allen on otherside of Island and take 15-20 minutes to get to the coast. Family run boat, nice small groups, I believe 15 was the limit. Great history and story telling by captain and crew. Saw spinner dolphins, green sea turtles, and the gorgeous Na Pali Coast. Great trip, probably the best activity we did all week.

Attraction | "Salt Pond Beach"

Sunset from Beach
We stopped here on the way back from Waimea Canyon to Princeville. We were looking for someplace that had a great sunset and we definitely found it. Great reefs to provide calmer water for snorkeling and even saw a monk seal on the beach (don't go to close, there are strict laws about not disturbing them). The sunset was amazing and the beach nice and clean.
