SCOTTISH HEAVEN

A March 2003 trip to Fife by lowey

We stayed at Kilconquhar Castle - a dream! Local fishing villages and coastal paths take you back 100 years to a time when true manners and honesty were the norm!

Best Things Nearby:
The local village has a delightful pub - tiny but serves great food.

Best Things About the Resort:
Everything - accommodation in brick built bungalows. Finished to a very high standard with excellent fittings and furnishings. Everything you could wish for in the kitchen. Bathroom a dream. Leisure facilities excellent, including pool, gym, beauty salon, small pitch and putt, golf driving range, and horse riding on site.

Resort Experience:
The castle building is really more of a stately home but very beautiful and traditional. Restaurant excellent and Scottish nights not to be missed. There are also apartments in the main castle building, I believe these are truly wonderful. Breakfast available on site from White Cockade Bar, and also bar snacks are served all day.

Restaurant

Ideal for local fish and game. This is a very small place with a pleasant dining room and very reasonably priced, top quality local food. Very friendly and welcoming, happy to give advice and to accept families with children.
