A March 2003 trip to Las Vegas by Laura and Jim

Quote: This was the weekend of the first round of NCAA tournament. Great food, dancing, and accommodations.

This is classic original Vegas hotel/casino. The rooms were clean and spacious. We loved the room, just what we wanted. Large pool, shops, and restaurants. It is located on the opposite end of all the new hotels, so we got to see all of the older casinos like Circus Circus, Frontier, and Sahara. These are also great hotels and shouldn't be forgotten.

Circus Buffet at Circus Circus

Restaurant | "Circus Circus Buffet"

We went when breakfast was still out, but they also offered fettucine, roast beef tips, and noodles and vegetables. Of all the buffets we experienced in Las Vegas, this was one of our favorites. Food not only looked good, it tasted good. Lots of seating so the line moved fast.

Venetian Resort Hotel Casino

Attraction | "V at the Venetian"

Quote:

This was an afternoon show and our tickets were given to us. Regardless, it was well worth the purchased price. Performers were amazing. There were comedians, song acts, balancing, tumbling, and dancing. Much better than Cirque de Soleil that we saw two years ago. Great all around show that lasted almost two hours.
