The sunsets and sunrises and the beach.

Quick Tips:

Bring a kite (do not forget the string) to fly on the beach. Also, bring a shovel and bucket to build a sand castle or sand shape.

Best Way To Get Around:

Best way to get around is in a car. There is ample parking wherever you would want to visit. There is public transportation (bus) if you would like to try that type of transportation. Taxis are available but could get expensive. Some of the places you could stay at will provide transportation to various entertainment.

It was a quiet condo. They had warned us that there might be noise from remodeling they were doing, but we were not disturbed. It would have been nice to have two televisions - one was in the living room but we needed one in the bedroom. The ceilings were a little low. The condo was small but adequate. The beach was not crowded and the roads were easy to drive because we were there during the slow season. We enjoyed going to the local shows. There is a lot to see and do in this are...Read More

This is a great place to get a quick bite to eat before, after, or during a visit to the NASCAR Speedpark. Lots and lots of NASCAR memorabilia available to look at and purchase, including autographed drivers' suits and complete race cars and a small Hall of Fame, contribute to the NASCAR theme. The distinctly Southern menu is built around down-home dishes, sush as farm-raised catfish cut into strips, lightly dusted in seasoned cornmeal and friend golden brown. The gift shop was quite nice. Racing fans can sit in booths set up like pit areas to experience dining in a racetrack infield. Hours: Mon-Sat 11am-10pm. Sun 11am-9pm. Summer Hours: Open until 11:30 pm, closed Christmas Day.
