Overview

Snorkeling is great. We took jet skis out in the lagoon. There are a lot of tour companies with different prices so check around. My favorite thing is just to check out the different culture and see the sights, especially the beautiful beach. The water there is beautiful and clear; the sand is soft and clean.

Quick Tips:

This is a laid back place, no formal attire is needed. You get a lot of locals trying to sell you things so you have to be good at saying "No thanks" and then moving on before they get another word in.

Best Way To Get Around:

Taxis or buses. Buses are much easier on the nerves and cheaper but the taxi will get you there quicker and they are not that expensive. They do drive fast and crazy though.

Extremely clean rooms decorated in the height of fashion. Breathtaking views of the ocean. Huge Jacuzzi with lots of marble and tile. Elevator for easy access to your rooms. Service is beyond perfect.

Hotel | "Moon Palace"

Moon Palace is newer than the 3 other palace resorts on the hotel zone inside Cancun. It is also very huge and spread out. The rooms are very elaborate and clean with great views of the ocean or the grounds. There is a lot of walking involved if your room is not near the lobby and restaurants. They have golf carts but they are usually taken and you can't find one when you need one. It is also several miles outside of Cancun so the taxi drive is expensive and you can't just keep going back to your room for rests like you can on the hotel zone resorts.

Restaurant

Planet Hollywood is as much a museum of Hollywood as it is a restaurant. The atmosphere is what makes this place really cool. Even if you're not going to eat, go in and look around. They won't mind.

Attraction

This is one of the cool places for night life in Cancun. Don't be surprised to see undergarmets hanging from the rafters...This place is right on the beach and has an outside veranda as well as an inside club. It is not a very big place and can get crowded.
