Overview

Quote:
Most people say the shows are the highlights of Branson and there are ALOT of them. We have been to the Kirby VanBirch magic show and we loved it. We aren't into country so we don't go to the country shows. Silver Dollar City and White Water is what is usually on our to-do list.

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

Driving on the strip can be tricky in the busy months. Get a map on arrival and take the 'traffic relief routes' if possible.

We usually eat at Ruby Tuesdays for a quick good meal. There is something for everyone in the family and it's not too expensive. Very good food and clean atmosphere.

Farmhouse Restaurant

Always the best food and the most friendly service. We stopped here by chance once and now go back often. It is located in the old downtown city of Branson. Very laid back, cafe type atmosphere.

Marvel Cave

Attraction | "Silver Dollar City"

Quote:
Silver Dollar City has the feeling of stepping back in time. Everything is very laid back and casual. Even when the park is crowded, it doesn't feel overwhelming. If you can imagine being in the 19th century walking around, then that is similar to the experience here. There are a lot of demonstrations of making glass, pottery, iron works, etc. Everyone that works here is dressed in old time clothes. There is a lot of walking involved as with any amusement park but they do offer wheelchair rentals and baby strollers.

White Water

Attraction

Quote:
It's a water park. There is not a lot of walking involved between rides. When we went, it wasn't so crowded that the lines were unbearable for the rides. There is a huge wave pool (sort of like a miniature ocean) and lots of chairs in the sun and out of the sun. There is a separate place for small children and the "Lazy River" (float around on an intertube in circles around the park). If your children are older like mine, you can lay by the wave pool or in the shade and still fee ok about letting them run around to the rides. There are lockers in different locations and they rent for approx. $2 a day.

Tanger Outlet Center

Attraction | "Outlet Malls"

Quote:
If you're a shopper, like me...this is the best place to come and get school clothes or buy for Christmas. There are many outlet stores and their are 4 outlet malls. That will keep you busy for a couple days.
