This is an unique festival. From mid-February thru October The Bard and many other famous playwrights are presented in eleven plays for the season, with at least four of these plays by the Bard. The theater has three stages as well as a wonderful gift shop.

Story/Tip

A beautiful park located just a block from the main area of downtown. Lovely gardens, ponds and streams make this a relaxing place to take a break.

Mt. AshlandBest of IgoUgo

Story/Tip

The 7500+ft. elevation of Mt. Ashland makes this a perfect getaway for the residents of southern Oregon. It offers 23 ski runs and many miles of cross-country trails. It's a popular mountain bike destination for hearty souls during the summer as well as a great place to hike. Some of the meadows near the summit are filled with spring wildflowers in early August. The mountain area past the ski lodge is accessible by car in the summer and the views are magnificent. A wonderful Sunday drive.
