Overview

We stayed at the Mayan palace, went to Tulum, and went Chichen Itza for the spring equinox - great beach at Tulum! Next time Xelha and Xcaret when my daughter is old enough to snorkel.

Quick Tips:

Take peanut butter, cheese, and coffee for quick snacks and easy meals. Eating out is not too expensive but is tiring with a three-year-old all the time.

Best Way To Get Around:

We took shuttle buses and tours. The one day I rented a car was so much easier. The next time I'm in Cancun I'll rent a car for the whole week.

Be sure and get a studio or larger apartment if you bring your kids, otherwise the hotel rooms are a little small. The place is unbelievable and the service is friendly and fantastic.

Restaurant

The best veal saltimbuco I have ever had. The chicken parmesan was also great & the desserts are to die for. The other restaurants are more reasonable and have equally good food.
