Overview

Whether seeing sunrise from Tiger Hill or roaming around Mall Road, Darjeeling lures everybody. The toy train which shuttles between Siliguri and Darjeeling has become a legend since it has been operating more than 115 years. Ghoom monastry and Batashay loop are famous places to visit. You can see beautiful Kanchangunga Mountain from any part of Darjeeling. It remains cold throughout the year and th best season to visit this hill station is May-June and September-October.

What you need in Darjeeling is warm cloth to protect yourself from the cold. Tea is its famous attraction for foreingers and Indian tourists alike. In Tibetan Refugee Centre, you can see Tibetan people working on their handiwork and doing prayer.

Best Way To Get Around:

You may travel Darjeeling by walking but to certain places you need to have taxis to take you there
