Xcaret is the Mexican answer to Disney World - completely different, but as exciting and memorable as anything Disney has to offer (and we are huge fans of the attractions at Orlando). There was too much to do in one day - snorkelling an underground river and a crystal clear bay, swimming with dolphins, and an incredible show in the evening were the highlights.Quick Tips: Must visit Xcaret. Carlos & Charlie's is a great place to eat in the evenings. The staff create a real party atmosphere from the minute you arrive. Nightlife and choice of restaurants in the hotel zone is second to none. Not that impressed with downtown.Best Way To Get Around: The Mexican buses are very cheap (6 pes...Read More

We stayed in the Marriott for our first night in Cancun and wished we could have spent the whole holiday there. The rooms were great; the service was first-class; the staff and management friendly and helpful; the restaurant, beach, and pool area were among the best in Cancun.

Prepare for an experience at this friendly spot with a lively atmosphere, good food, and great service! Don't expect to sit in a corner without joining in the fun (in the nicest possible way). We enjoyed our first visit so much that we went back for a second experience -- which was completely different but just as good.

This is an experience of the same quality as Orlando attractions, but completely different. There is too much to do all in one day, and the site unique to Mexico and simply not to be missed.

Swimming with dolphins happens in a natural inlet, which adds to the experience. Snorkelling takes place in an underground river and then in a bay with clear, warm water, lots of rocks, and lots of brightly-coloured fish.

The show in the evening presents a memorable review of Mexico's history.
