This was our week without kids at Vacation Village at Parkway.

When in the Orlando area, stop into the Gaylord Palms Hotel Conference Center for a view of their atrim lobby. There is an actual sailboat that has been converted to a restaurant floating in the lobby. You can also hike through the Everglades right there in the lobby to several different restaurants, or just sit by the water ways to watch the fish or turtles swim by.

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

Driving is easy around the Orlando area. If staying at Vacation Village, you can also walk to many shops/restaurants. You can even walk to catch public transporation and go just about anywhere. Avoid I-4 during rush hour, and use roads like International Drive.

Vacation Village at Parkway

Spacious and a great locale. The rooms allow you to really spread out. The big screen TV was a hit. Each room has their own balcony with a table and chairs to enjoy the outdoors.

Logans Steakhouse

Logans Steakhouse was fun, good and staff VERY pleasant. If you like to eat peanuts and throw the shells on the floor, this is the place for you. Would go again.

Pirates Dinner Adventure Show

If you have kids it is great fun. A lot of action with audience participation. The cost is more for the show than the meal itself.
