Best Things Nearby:Virginia Beach has a real nice boardwalk (cement) that is 40 blocks long. Running parallel with the boardwalk is a blacktop trail for bicycles. There is plenty of room for roller blades, skateboards, bicycles, joggers and walkers. In the area, there are alot of restaurants and shops. But in the off- season we noticed that some restaurants and shops were only opened on weekends and some others, not at all. Located only a couple miles from Virginia Beach is the Virginia Marine Science Museam. Very educational and the kids love it. The kids realy enjoyed petting the sting rays and watching the otters play in the water. To see it all, will take most of the day. ...Read More

Best Things Nearby:40 blocks of boardwalk (cement and black top) for walking, bike riding, and roller blades, or stroll along the beautiful beach. Lots of restaurants and a dozen golf courses to choose from. Near by is the Virginia Marine Science Museum. Very educational and the kids love it.Best Things About the Resort:We were on the 11th floor with a great view. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, hot tub, three balconies (2 overlooking the beach and 1 overlooking the street side), 3 TVs, VCR, full kitchen, restaurant, and free use of bicycles and a free daily newspaper. On one day, the resort hosted a small function with free drinks, including wine, cheese and crackers and drew...Read More
