One of the best times I've had during those long, boring winter months was a visit to the Science Museum of Minnesota. For my husband's birthday this year, we got a group of friends to go visit the Vikings exhibit they had at the time. We spent all afternoon playing with the exhibits, learning how to make lava and experiencing Viking life with Leif Erikson! This is my husband and my favorite restaurant. We even had our wedding reception in the banquet hall. My favorite dish is the paprika schnitzel. It is a slice of pork (or two!) with onion, bacon and a paprika sauce. Most items come with spaetzel, german egg noodles, and bread. The German potato salad is to die for, and I must have a potato pancake at least once a month or I will get very testy indeed! No German restaurant would be complete with their beer selection. The Black Forest has a fine selection German and local brews.
