Honeymoon in the Desert

The Aerial Tramway was a terrific trip from the desert floor to the top of the mountain. When we left the desert floor it was 75 degrees, and when we arrived at the top of the mountain it was in the low 30s. The tram ride itself was an adventure and an engineering accomplishment. The tram rises more than 4000 feet in elevation and the transitions from different towers was exhilarating. Once we arrived at the top, the fun just began. The mountain has more than fifty hiking trails that lets you see more than twenty different species of animals. It was definitely an adventure for all ages. The trails differ in distance as well. They offer distances for the most veteran hiker as well as the rookie. A definite must do for the Palm Springs area.
