Cape Cod

A November 2002 trip to Cape Cod by jeem1234

It was cool and windy, and quiet because it was off-season, but we got to see the annual lighting of Pilgrim Monument. We love the Cape anytime of year.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The hotel's indoor and outdoor pools were very clean and well kept. The grounds were very clean. There were plenty of clean towels in the pool area. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone.

This motel is clean and cozy, more family-on-a-budget-type than a luxury hotel. We took the kids so we got a family room. The family room was very big, but yet cozy and clean. The indoor and outdoor pools were clean and comfortable. There were plenty of area attractions for the kids.

Best Things Nearby:
Pilgrim Monument, the beach.

Best Things About the Resort:
Helpful staff; clean, comfortable accommodation and a gameroom for the kids.

Resort Experience:
We went off-season, but it was still nice. We relaxed and enjoyed our free time. The Jacuzzi was great. The indoor heated pool was ice-cold though. I would definitely recommened taking the kids to the Pilgrim Monument--just not on a windy day, we thought we were going to blow right off the top.

Attraction

The Zooquarium is great; it's like visiting a zoo and an aquarium without having to go to separate places. I would recommend anyone with kids visiting the Cape to take the kids here. It is reasonably priced and the kids have so much fun. Do call ahead for times of the shows and especially for off-season hours: 508/775-8883.

Attraction | "The Beaches of Cape Cod...some of our favorites"

All the beaches a clean and relaxing. We love the Cape anytime of year. Most things are closed off season though. Off season, we still like to walk along the beach for a peaceful relaxing time. In season, we swim, sunbathe, and just wander.
