The heat, the warm air and the whirpool was so needed to warm up my bones after the New York winter.

Overview

I was there just before my trip to Johannesburg, South Africa for the World Summit on Sustainable Development. I needed to relax and take in some warm air and heat to lubricate my bones and joints. After some of that my trip to Sedona was just memorable!

Quick Tips:

You cannot go to Scottsdale and not visit Sedona! This is a wonderful experience, plus a festival to your senses. The beauty and color that you will see will remain with you for a long time.

Best Way To Get Around:

There's plenty of hikes around the Scottsdale Camelback Resort. The city is very nice to go around, but don't miss going to Sedona.
This resort was comfortable and friendly. The bar by the pool comes alive at night. The mist to keep the air cool is on all throughout the day and evening, making it pleasant to be out in the heat.

Best Things Nearby:
All the shopping, the restaurants, and visits to Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and others.

Best Things About the Resort:
I enjoyed most the whirlpool even though it was summer! The travel agent was friendly and helpful about the area, the restaurant was very reasonably priced and had a variety of good healthy choices.

Resort Experience:
This is a family fun resort, although you can also enjoy some romantic evenings by the pool. You should not miss going to Sedona, which is about a two hour ride on beautiful scenic country.
