This is a bare bones trip. No luxury here, although the crew of the boat (Ms.Something) was great, the accommodations were rough. I would recommend staying on land and moving from island to island. The tour guides will set it up, so ask lots of questions. Only a limited number of visitors are allowed on the islands and the government(i.e. Park service) controls the tour operators. I think it is well worth any naturalist time to see the wonders of our world, and these Islands are one of the Best.

The birds were the best: 13 species of finches, blue-footed boobie birds, red-footed boobie birds, masked boobie birds, waved albatross, Galapagos penguins, flamingos, red-billed tropic birds, magnificent frigates, and four species of mockingbirds. There are others I am failing to mention.
