Quote: Last summer, my husband of 27 years and I took our first full week trip with three of our granddaughters to Galveston. We created many lasting memories during that trip for our granddaughters. My husband recently died but the wonderful experience will live forever in our granddaughters' memories.

Two of our granddaughters had never seen the "ocean" gulf. We had a grand adventure introducing them to the Texas Gulf Coast. All three enjoyed visiting the Galveston area, feeding the gulls, grilling out, walking the beach and picking up seashells. Walking on the beach hand-in-hand with their grandfather was the BEST.Quick Tips: The ferry over to Fort Bolivar offered them a free treat.
