Weekend in the High Country

Quote: The high country is in the mountains of North Carolina. Our primary purpose of the trip was to go snow skiing. The big four slopes are Sugar, Beech, Ski Hawk, and Appalachian. We went to Appalachian based on the cost and our beginners level of skiing.

We checked in like a breeze without any problems. The lobby had tall ceilings with reading material, one pool table, four video games, and puzzles/games. There are four types of rooms at this resort -- studio, large studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom. We stayed in the one-bedroom which was small but very clean.
