Carinthian Austria

A May 2001 trip to Klagenfurt by Goodsvejk

Klagenfurt is a delightful town in southern Austria. As the provincial and cultural capital of Carinthia, this town is a perfect stop for exploring the wonders of the region.

The accommodations were basic, but the location was great. This is definitely a place for the traveler who just needs a bed to rest his head upon. No frills, but parking is available. The hotel is only a few blocks from all the major attractions, but just far enough away to be quiet. Booking can be done through any number of travel sites, but I used Inthotels .
