If you are going to go to ACAPULCO you can not miss the ISLAND of LA ROCKETA and visit the famus PALAO CLUB, ther is a lot of fun to do at EL PALAO. You can swim off the private beach, see the prehispanic show that they do or take a jungle tour in the island.

In ACAPULCO there is a lot of night life for young people or for all the family. In the next day take a trip to PUERTO MARQUES only 20 munuts from ACAPULCO this is another nice beach where you can find the best seafood for very nice prices, and you can see the SUNSET there, which is so nice.

If you can, take a boat trip around Acapulco as it should only cost you pesos--like Dollars--and you can drink all you can.

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

The best thing to get around is to take the BUS. The bus is YELLOW and it says ACAPULCO with purple leters because the other buses are not air conditioned. The cost is 50 cents or 5 pesos.

If you take a TAXI CAB, they do not acept more then pesos. Usually a fare is like 50 pesos or 70 pesos at the most--like 5 to 7 dollars. Do not pay more then 10 DOLLARS, only if you are going to take a CAB to PUERTO MARQUES should the fare be around 10 to 15 dollars or you can make an arrangement with the taxi driver and pay a round trip.

Best Things Nearby:
Well, the resort itself is on a very good location in Acapulco. You have everything nearby - discos, bars, downtown is only five minutes away, and the beach - wow! I love it.

Best Things About the Resort:
The timeshare is not that new but it's nice and has everything on hand and the people at the resort are wonderful and give you very good attention. The other thing that is very good is the buffet at the restaurant and in the nights you can enjoy mexican nights, Italian nights, and so on at the restaurant that they have on the beach it's so nice.

Resort Experience:
As I told you the resort is not that new but a lot of people like it because it's very centric and on a good spot with a very nice beach named El Morro.

Attraction | "The Death Defying Divers of La Quebrada"

In you stay in Acapulco and if you want to see something spectacular, don't forget to go to La Querada and see divers defying death.

This is one of the famous natural-human shows in Acapulco--it's amazing how these boys dive from a rocky cliff. There is a show in the morning, one at sunset, and the best one (in my opinion) is the night show because at night they dive with torches and fire. If you want to drink a margarita, go in to the Plaza Las Glorias hotel (that is an RCI resort, too). Go in to the restaurant that has a nice view of La Quebrada and you can see the show from the restaurant and see the sunset--it is very romntic.

Isla La RoquetaBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Isla La Rocketa"

This is a very famous island of Acapulco. They say that if you go to Acapulco and you don't go to Isla la Roqueta it's like you never went to Acapulco. The island itself is very beautiful, especially in the summer when you can see the different colors of green the the island has to offer and lay out on the beach off the island or take a jungle tour around. If you have the chance in your hotel they can offer you a trip to El Palao Island Club. I would recommend you to take that tour because it's very nice and that club has a private beach in the island and a wonderfull view of all Acapulco Bay.
