Quote: Our ski vacation in Bartlett, New Hampshire was very enjoyable. The days were filled with some of the best skiing I have seen in that area in years. Mother Nature cooperated very well providing over a foot of snow the week we were there. The Attitash Mountain village was wonderful.

The room was bigger than expected. It was a split-level, one-bedroom condominium style room. There was a full-size kitchen and two full baths. The Jacuzzi tub in the larger bathroom came in handy after a long day of skiing. The gas fireplace was a comfort on chilly evenings. The unit also had a washer/dryer. The main building had an arcade for the kids, an indoor pool, and a hot tub. The staff was very kind and helpful. The heaters were a little noisy in the evening and the beds could have been more comfortable. They did provide you with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. There were also more televisions in the unit than we had people.

The Moat Pub and Grill

The Moat is a local micro brewery. The sandwiches were very large and delicious. The fries were great. The beer was very good but a little expensive. They have a bar section and a restaurant section.

The food was alright--nothing fancy. The sub sanwich could have been better. It is convenient if you are staying at the Attitash Mountain Village, because it is right on-site. However, there are much better places to eat a short ride away. The pub/bar section was very busy. The restaurant was not crowded and the service was very good.

Attitash Bear Peak

The skiing was wonderful. They had plenty of lifts open so there were no lines. They had a large beginners area that was separate from the more advanced trails. This is a good mountain for those that like terrain parks and more advanced trails. Many of the trails are narrow, but all were well groomed. The lifts open at 9:00am during the week.

The movie was excellent. The theatre was small. There are no weekday afternoon movies. The selection of movies was good, and the staff was very polite. The location was close to were we were staying. The price was average.

Settlers Green Outlet Village Plus

The shopping was very good. This is a very large grouping of outlet stores. Some of the stores are Eddie Bauer, Banana Republic, Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Old Navy, L.L. Bean, Osh Kosh, Reed and Barton, and Farberware. They have just about anything you could possibly need or desire. The sale items were well priced, but the regular prices were just that the same price you could get at home. It did make for a nice day out. It also took all day to see every store with a break for lunch.
