The Grand Bahamas Best of IgoUgo

Overview

Quote:
At Ocean Reef, there is an ONSITE scuba boat. Scuba diving was WONDERFUL!! The tours they take you on are great and not overly expensive. We went to the zoo and an evening sunset cruise. Pay the extra money to eat steak and lobster upstairs. It is great! The tour of the island activity is very worthwhile.Quick Tips: Remember to barter with the locals. Don't pay full price. Also, if they try to braid your hair, it can be expensive. They do it for a great price at Ocean Reef itself. Also, go to the grocery store and buy a week's worth of food to cook yourself, if you are on a budget.Best Way To Get Around: A car is the easiest way to get around, although you can take the bus for abo...Read More

Nice rooms with air conditioning. We first had an ant problem, but they sprayed and the ants were immediately gone. Our room had three bedrooms, was two stories, and was very nice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Best Things Nearby:Gorgeous beaches, great SCUBA diving, warm water, and Lucaya Bazar. In addition, there are a couple of golf courses that are somewhat nearby. Be sure to bring your clubs, because the clubs we rented from the older golf course were just that, very old!Best Things About the Resort:People are very nice and accommodating. They sure do know how to have fun! They make it a great atmosphere. We felt very comfortable there. We actually felt like part of the family. When we were asked to purchase at this timeshare, there was no question in our minds. We Loved It!Resort Experience:WONDERFUL! We loved it! We plan to go back again and again....Read More

The food we had was excellent. I had fish (snapper, I think) and it was delicious. I wanted to eat there again, but since we only had 8 days, I wanted to experience other dining as well. The dress was casual and the waitress was very accomodating.

Zoo Best of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Zoo that is part of the excursions"

Quote:
I pretty much described it above. There is a pretty church (I'm not sure if it is still in use or not), there are several paths to see different animals. There is a section that has a little waterfall. It is nice to go see.
