Overview

We used the Englewood Tennis Club. It's a very friendly place with excellent HarTru courts. It is about six miles north on the main road to Venice, on the left. It's also very reasonably priced.

Quick Tips:

We rented a boat one day to tour the intercoastal and to a barrier island - pricy but fun diversion.

Best Way To Get Around:

You have to have a car.

Hotel

Units are small but very functional and clean. We had the best unit on the second floor with a direct beach view and screened porch. Exceptionally inviting pool water that really sparkles. You can pass on the welcome session unless you like corny jokes.
