Little Europa

A June 2002 trip to Luxembourg City by Goodsvejk

Needing a place to rest while traveling from Amsterdam to Salzburg, Luxembourg seemed perfect. Originally intending to stay only for an afternoon, I soon realized that I would be staying longer. By the time we arrived, we had alloted two days. It was a perfect place to relax--small enough to be quaint and large enough to be entertaining.

The square
The accommodations seemed nice, but we were actually taken to an annex around the corner and across the square. Strange, we thought, until we saw our rooms. They were uninspired, but comfortable. However, we had the whole hotel to ourselves--there were only four rooms. The square was quieter, with nicer restaurants, and we had the privacy of an apartment. I am not sure you can, but try and request the annex if you have a group.
