Honeymoon in Mexico

Overview

Quote:
Xcaret and his night show, the dive with the submarine at Cozumel and just enjoying the hospitality of the club.

Quick Tips:

Don't miss Xcaret and visit at least one Maya site.

Best Way To Get Around:

Best way to get around Playa del Carmen is by taxi or by bike. The club provides bikes for free for about 2 hours after the first two hours you have to pay a little rent.

This club is a very nice all-inclusive accommodation. The staff is very friendly. There is enough to do, and the food was delicious. The beach is beautiful and very clean, you can choose to lay in the sun or in the shadow of any parasol-like palm.

The activities on the beach are various, including surf lessons, snorkeling, catamaran sailing, and more. There is a pool, with a pool bar, and everynight there is a show perfomed by the staff members. You can arrange several excursions in the lobby -- that way you don't have to search very long.

We loved staying here, and our honeymoon was perfect.

Xcaret

Attraction

This park is magnificent: you can swim with dolphins, snorkel in the lagoon, watch many exotic animals, and float down the river trough the park. Some activities cost extra--the $45 entrance price includes the nightshow and various activities like the riverfloating. You can spend a whole day at this park without getting bored.

This was one of the highlights of our vacation. We went on a dive with the submarine from Atlantis to take a look at one of the most beautiful reefs in the world. This trip was a little expensive, but worth the cost.

You're underwater for about 40 minutes in a very narrow submarine, so be sure you're not afraid of such small places. But time seems to be standing still underwater when you see so many beautiful natural wonders.

This Maya site at the waterfront is beautiful. The trees on the site have been taken away so the overview is perfect. The photos show the view over the beach and a view over the site. Be sure to take a swim at the little beach below. There is a market with souvenirs at the entrance of this site.
