Crazy in Cabo

The highlight of our trip was the Jungle Booze Cruise where we took a sunset cruise with all-you-can-drink and dancing. The crew was also a lot of fun, and everyone had a great time. The El Arco glass bottom boat tours are short, but nice. The golf courses are amazing, some of the best in the world. The best dinner we had was at Cabo Wabo, the best breakfast was at Camino Real (it's also cheap), and most of the time we just walked on the boardwalk and stopped in the different bars for a snack and a cocktail. We had the most fun just hanging around our resort, laying by the pool, and having a drink at the swim-up bar.

Quick Tips:

If you want free stuff go to a timeshare presentation. They are everywhere. We received free transportation to and from the airport, free booze cruise, a glass bottom boat tour, dinner, and 2 breakfasts. Plus if you are looking for extra weeks they have some amazing resorts down there.

Best Way To Get Around:

We walked everywhere. The boat taxis are cheaper than regular taxis. Be careful when you book your resort some of them are not close to town and if you stay at one far away you'll have to take a taxi all the time and it can get expensive.

Best Things Nearby:
Private beach, the marina, and it's very near downtown Cabo. You can walk there in 5 minutes. All the cool bars and resturants are near it.

Best Things About the Resort:
The rooms are very well- kept, and spacious with views of the ocean. The workers there are all very nice and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. The 2 best things about this place are: (1) the swim up bars at the pool are great for relaxing the day away, and (2) this resort has 2 fiesta nights where you get all you want food, drink, and entertainment all for a reasonable price. The food was all local dishes and they were the best we had on our vacation. And the margaritas were just how I like them: strong and plentiful.

Resort Experience:
It's very tropical with 3 pools, great rooms, a restaurant, and a private beach. They have activities planners and a small store. The only thing we didn't like was that they pressured us constantly to go see their new resort and then proceed to give you a timeshare presentation where they don't take no for an answer. But all in all it was a great place.

It is a nice romantic restaurant. The food is good. I think the seafood is better than the pasta, and their pizza is pretty good. The lights are turned down low, and they have an extensive wine list.

This place is known more for Sammy Hagar and partying, but don't let that fool you. The food there is fabulous. My wife and I both had beef and it was tender and delicious. The beef tenderloin appetizer is fantastic. Plus the drinks are large and refreshing.
