Definitely the Underwater World is this island's highlight. Fish are colorful, the reefs are alive with color, and the visibility is outstanding - up to 100 feet. If you don't scuba dive, you must at least give snorkeling a try. Snorkeling can be done right off the beach at many hotels.
South of town, there are a few beach clubs that serve food and drinks. They have beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, and one even has a trampoline.
Mayan Ruins - a few small ones on the island but Tulum, on the mainland, is worth a ferry ride.
