Overview

--The gator swamp tour in the glades.
--Hit as many clubs as possible on Bourbon street, but remember, the outskirts of town have the "best" drink prices...ask at your resort! Buy some beads, you'll be passing them out.

Quick Tips:

--Be careful and don't walk around alone at night.
--Bring a friend.
--Watch the flea markets, what you get is not always what you pay for.

Best Way To Get Around:

Use the trolley and local buses, they get you around cheaply; however you can walk, as it's better to exercise. And with the heat, you'll sweat off the fat!
The room was quaint, and the air-conditioning worked well. We had all the comforts of home in the kitchen. The bath was nicely sized, the shower was great unless everybody was showering.

There was an area within the complex that you could sit at the pool and relax. Each floor had outdoor tables. Security cameras were present. The hotel was located at the very end of the local party zone, so you had the last trolley stop across the street. It was quiet, which was nice.

Attraction

We were not there during Mardi Gras, however, every day and night it is party time. To me, New Orleans is a year round event...an alcoholics dream! Whatever you want, it's there.
