Todos Santos is an oasis in the desert and the home of numerous art galleries and artists. We loved the walk around this charming town, with its old theater, church, and numerous shops, bars, and some of the best restaurants on the peninsula.
Our favorite spot was Hotel California. Legend has it that it is the Hotel California made famous by the Eagles song in the 1970s. Real or made-up, the mystique added to the very enjoyable visit.

Best Way To Get Around:
We traveled by rental car to Todos Santos. It is located on the Tropic of Cancer in the southern portion of the Baja Peninsula in Mexico, just one hour north of Cabo San Lucas and one hour south of La Paz. It is 1 kilometer from the Pacific Ocean at the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains.
