Christmas in Mexico

A December 2002 trip to Puerto Vallarta by pliston

We stayed at the Paradise Village in Nuevo Vallarta. My kids had so much fun. We swam with dolphins and participated in the canopy adventure. This is now one of our favorite destinations.

This is a gorgeous resort with so many things to do, plus 10 restaurants and many different varieties. A mall next door has McDonald's, Domino's Pizza, and a grocery store. They have two water slides in their pool, which is next to a beautiful beach. My kids parasailed, boogie-boarded, and had so much fun that we were all sad to leave. Our room had a balcony onto the pool, and we would sit at night and enjoy Christmas in Paradise.

Attraction

The sky was so blue as was the water, and then there was the beautiful beaches and palm trees. We went to four different beaches around Puerto Vallarta and were impressed with each one. They were so beautiful and the kids had fun lying in hammocks and soaking up sun.

We went on three tours with this company. On the Sierra Madre tour, we went on a hike through the jungle and then had lunch and relaxed on a beach. The Swim with Dolphins tour was one of the favorite things we did. And the Canopy Adventures let you zip-line through tall trees in the jungle.
