For years, trying to find a good restaurant with steak and seafood was a challenge in North Conway--although there are plentiful small bistros and cafes that serve soup and sandwiches. Muddy Moose was a pleasant surprise last year! There was a small 10-minute wait to get in, and inside a very New Hampshire-ish setting with a moose head on the wall and snowshoes, etc. The table was comfortable--not much of a view, but the food was excellent and service a delight. This is a large place and there's not much of a line to get in. It has a private large bar with three large TVs for the sports fan. . .
