Best Things Nearby:
Ice Hockey collector’s memorabilia shops, downtown ice hockey arena. Toronto is just 2 hours away. Lighthouse Point and Sunset Park.

Best Things About the Resort:
Very spacious 2-bedroom units, and beautiful grounds. We got to bring our pet mini-collie!

Resort Experience:
The 2-bedroom unit was very large. It had two separate bedrooms, both with two double beds. Each bedroom had its own separate bath, that was very clean, new and bright, with its own separate shower stall and big whirlpool tubs.

We were able to bring our pet dog with us, and she had a wonderful time. We took her for long walks along Lighthouse Point and Sunset Park.

Collingwood Blues Jr A Hockey
It was fun to see our first ice hockey game in Canada, and nice to experience it with the home town crowd of Collingwood. The Collingwood Blues won over Owen Sound 4 to 2!

Hockey Hall of Fame
It's the Hockey Hall of Fame! We got to see the Stanley Cup and get our picture taken with it. (But this wasn't the first time we have seen it).

Lighthouse Point
This is a nice place to take walks, but it was very cold in November. You can walk along the shore, where you can see very colorful rock bolders. The sunsets are very nice here.

Niagara Falls
This is an all-day excursion from Collingwood, Law Cranberry Resort to Niagara Falls. The first stop was at the town of Niagara on the Lake, for a couple hours of shopping and wine tasting.

Once at Niagara Falls we took the "Journey Behind the Falls". This is a tunnel that runs behind the falls, that has a couple of views of the water that comes crashing down right before your eyes, and one walk out view where you can get the best view for the falls right next to the beautiful cascades. We did not get to ride on the "Maid of the Mist", it was closed for the season.

Afterwards we all went to a restaurant to have our dinner, which was very nice. We got to chat with many people on our tour. Some people we met were a very nice couple from New Zealand, and a very sweet lady from England.

On the way home we watched "Indiana Joes: Temple of Doom", complements of our bus driver, who by the way also make the trip very enjoyable. The only down side to this trip was that it was raining most of the day, but everyone still had a very good time.
