In Nkhata bay there are a variety of things to do, scuba diving in the magnificent lake Malawi (this part is Bilharzia free I might like to add) and also there a variety of bars that can be enjoyed throughout day and night where travellers and loacals go to tell tales. Also there are canoeing adventures to distant Islands which can take up to three or four days at a time the choice is completely up to you. Or you can have yourself a friendly argument at one of the local shops about the price of goods, which of course always come as good price!
