I was so impressed with this resort. We had three units, a studio, a one-bedroom, and a two-bedroom cottage. All of the accommodations were excellent. The resort had an indoor and outdoor pool, plus a swimming area on the lake with docks for fishing and boat rentals.Quick Tips: The resort was well-maintained, had two restaurants, a game room, a shop, and a Wal-Mart within a 15-minute drive. You would need a rental car as there are no airports close and the town is 15-minutes away. For a relaxing and peaceful week, do your shopping the first day and hang out by the pool, lake, or on your deck for a cookout. This is an old amusement park that has been maintained by volunteers in the local community. It is on the waterfront of Spirit Lake and is accessible by either car or boat. It has free entrance, you pay for the rides only. You can accompany your children without having to pay to get in and watch them. There are specialty shops outside the park and a few small restaurants.
