Be sure to visit Chileno Beach on the tourist corridor for snorkeling and swimming. Santa Maria Beach is also good, but you have to walk a little farther. Take an umbrella and something to sit on.
If you are adventourous be sure to visit Cabo Pulmo about 2 hours north on the way to La Paz. It's off the beaten path and the snorkeling has been worth it.
We love to have lunch at Nancy's. Don't forget to check your spare and don't leave your lights on. We had to learn Spanish real fast for help.
Quick Tips:
Rent a vehicle if you like to explore. The parking is a little difficult in town though. For a great happy hour, be sure to visit the Office. Great margaritas, but no parking. A visit to La Conch Beach Club is worth the relaxing day and great service at the beach with a protected swimming area.
Best Way To Get Around:
We generally rent a vehicle ahead of time or let the timeshare sales men do their job and get a week for the cost of three days and a decent breakfast at the latest resort.
