Well for me the best thing to do was the driving. I was a truck driver before coming to RCI to work and I love the scenery in the New England states! As for my wife and friends, shopping was on their minds (especially discount, tax free outlet shopping). We spent a fortune!!
Portsmouoth is also very close to Hampton beach and we took in a day there seeing the sights. RCI/Cendant has a Days Inn there and the staff was very friendly. We took a trip to Worcester, Massachussets and into Boston (which is also within a couple hours drive). We went to the Gaither Homecoming concert..a christian gospel concert featuring a lot of professional gospel talent. It was a blast.
Overall, the scenery is magnificent. And with things like the amusement parks in New Hampshire this is a great place for to vacation for the whole family. We enjoyed great scenery, great shopping, great food (mmmmmm seafood), and a good time for all ages!! And I must mention the White Mountains...b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!! Enjoy!
Quick Tips:
1) Don't miss the HillTop steakhoouse on your way to Boston. It was awesome!
2) Go to Hampton Beach. It is where the stars spend summer vacations!
3)Canobie park in New Hampshire is great for kids from 3-93!
4)New Hampshire is all tax free shopping...we've all paid enough taxes!!
5)Listen to my advice. I have travelled across many of the U.S. states, and their is nothing like New England!!!
Best Way To Get Around:
A vehicle is recomended, as you will want to drive and look at the scenery, and look at the breathtaking White Mountains in NH.
